IDENTIFIKASI KUAT ACUAN KAYU LONTAR DAN KAYU KELAPA

Abstract

Berdasarkan pengujian secara fisis diperoleh kode mutu dari kayu lontar dan kayu kelapa berada di antara kode mutu E11 hingga E13. Nilai rata-rata hasil pengujian kuat tekan tegak lurus serat kayu: Lontar = 5,03 MPa, Kelapa = 4,93 MPa. Nilai rata-rata hasil pengujian kuat tekan sejajar serat kayu: Lontar = 32,53 MPa, Kelapa = 29,20 MPa. Nilai rata-rata hasil pengujian kuat lentur berdasarkan beban maksimum kayu:  Lontar = 90,31 MPa, Kelapa = 77,25 MPa. Nilai rata-rata hasil pengujian kuat lentur berdasarkan lendutan izin kayu:  Lontar = 27,99 MPa, Kelapa = 24,93 MPa. Nilai rata-rata hasil pengujian modulus elastisitas lentur kayu: Lontar = 15167,94 MPa, Kelapa = 13976,42 MPa.  Nilai persentase perbandingan uji kuat tekan tegak lurus serat antara kayu yang diteliti terhadap kuat acuan SNI 7973:2013: Lontar = 24,38%, Kelapa = 22,74%. Nilai persentase perbandingan uji kuat tekan sejajar serat: Lontar = 50,71%, Kelapa = 39,33%. Nilai persentase perbandingan uji kuat lentur antara kayu yang diteliti berdasarkan beban maksimum:  Lontar = 247,45%, Kelapa = 209,15%. Nilai persentase perbandingan uji kuat lentur antara kayu yang diteliti berdasarkan lendutan izin:  Lontar = 10,13%, Kelapa = 6,78%. Nilai persentase perbandingan modulus elastisitas Lontar = 23,41%, Kelapa = 15,72%.

Based on the physically testing, the quality code of lontar and coconut be between quality codes E11 until E13. The compressive strength perpendicular to the timber’s fibers: lontar = 5,03 MPa, coconut = 4,93 MPa. The compressive strength parallel to the timber’s fiber: lontar  = 32,53 MPa, coconut = 29,20 MPa. Value flexural strength of timber’s based on maximum load: lontar = 90,31 MPa, coconut = 77,25 MPa. Value flexural strength of timber’s based on permit deflection: lontar = 27,99 MPa, coconut = 24,93 MPa. Value of the flexural modulus of elasticity testing results of timber’s: lontar = 15167.94 MPa, coconut = 13976.42 MPa.  The average percentage value of the comparison between compressive strength perpendicular to the timber's fiber that has been examined to the reference strength from SNI 7973: 2013: lontar = 24.38%, coconut = 22.74%. The percentage value of the comparison of compressive strength parallel to the timber’s fiber test is: lontar = 50.71%, coconut = 39.33%. The average percentage value of the comparison of flexural strength based on maximum load is: lontar = 247.45%, coconut = 209.15%. The average percentage value of the comparison of flexural strength based on permit deflection is: lontar = 10,13%, coconut = 6,78%. The average percentage value of the comparison of elastic modulus maximum load is: lontar = 23.41%, coconut = 15.72%.
