PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN SILICA FUME TERHADAP KUAT TEKAN REACTIVE POWDER CONCRETE

Abstract


Reactive powder concrete merupakan campuran yang meniadakan agregat kasar. Dalam penelitian ini komposisi dari silica fume adalah 0%, 9%, 18%, 27%, 36% dan 45% dari masa semen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kuat tekan reactive powder concrete akibat penambahan komposisi silica fume dan mengetahui presentase optimal silica fume terhadap kuat tekan beton. Benda uji yang digunakan adalah berbentuk silinder dengan ukuran 5 cm x 10 cm. Setiap variasi terdapat 5 benda uji, sehingga total pengujian adalah 30 benda uji. Dan umur rencana 14 hari.Hasil percobaan I kuat tekan rerata untuk semua variasi yang dihasilkan < 40 MPa, maka dilakukan percobaan II yaitu dengan ditambahkan volume dari superplasticitersebanyak 2 kali data awal. Terdapat 2 benda uji setiap variasi sehingga total keseluruhan adalah 12 benda uji. Hasil percobaan II kuat tekan rerata untuk variasi 0% = 42,02 MPa, 9% =43,29 MPa, 18% = 45,83 MPa, 27% = 48,38 MPa, 36% = 43,29 MPa dan 45% = 42,02 MPa. Presentase optimal silica fumeadalah 26,28%.

Reactive powder concrete is a mixture of coarse aggregate negates. In this study the composition of silica fume are 0%, 9%, 18%, 27%, 36% and 45% from weight of the cement. The purpose of this study are knows reactive powder concrete compressive strength due to the addition of silica fume composition and know the optimal percentage of silica fume on compressive strength of concrete.Test object created is cylindrical with the size 5 cm x 10 cm. There are 5 specimen all of the variation. Total of the specimen is 30. And treatment time’s 14 days.The result of the first experiment a mean compressive strength for all of variationare smaller than 40 MPa then conducted second experiment. At the experiment added volume of superplasticiter 2 times first experiment.There are two specimen all of the variation so have 12 specimen’s. The result of the second experiment a mean compressive strength for a variation 0% = 42,02 MPa, 9% =43,29 MPa, 18% = 45,83 MPa, 27% = 48,38 MPa, 36% = 43,29 MPa and 45% = 42,02 MPa. Optimal percentage of silica fume are 26,28%.
